1.
"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
("poor in spirit" means someone who
depends on God for everything)
2.
Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
(those
who are sorry for sins will be
comforted by the Scriptures that teach forgiveness)
3.
Blessed are the meek,
for they shall inherit the earth.
(meek
people are able to look beyond SELF and enjoy this 'fascinating' earth
that God has made)
4.
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for
righteousness,
for they shall be satisfied
(reading the Scriptures will satisfy!)
5.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they shall obtain mercy
(give mercy to your neighbor and God
will give mercy to you)
6.
Blessed are the pure of heart,
for they shall see God
(to be pure means to be free of all
selfishness)
7.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called children of God
(if we imitate God's love of man, we
become children of God)
8.
Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake
of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
9.
Blessed are you when people insult you and
persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against
you, because of Me."
This is a 'jackrabbit'. It is a
hare, not a rabbit
 |
Rabbits live underground.
They have big ears so that they can hear
their predators; such as wolves or foxes.
A rabbit might sound a loud scream when
caught; but otherwise the only sound it makes is with its foot to sound
a thump to indicate alarm.
Rabbits have a double digestion process
that enables them to get any nutrients that they may have missed during
the first passage through the gut.

And seeing
the multitudes, he went up into a mountain; and when he
was set, his disciples came unto him: and he opened his
mouth and taught them...
Matthew 5:1-2

Birds have three chambers in
their stomach. The starfish can turn its stomach
inside out and the camel can spit out the contents of its
stomach at people he doesn't like! |

To talk about more than one
octopus,
you would say 'octopuses' or 'octopi'. |
| Octopuses come in all
different sizes, from 2 inches to 18 feet. |
 |
The mouth of the octopus is
not on its head like the cartoon above shows; but at the base where the
arms attach to the body.
The arms have lots of suction cups
on them so that they can crawl along the ocean floor; or if they want
to, they can push water through their siphon that will propel them
through the water
 |
When an
octopus
gets frightened or angry, it can eject an
inky substance into the face of his attacker so that the octopus
can 'get away'. |
The
octopus
is considered to be the most
intelligent of all the invertebrate animals.
|
The mother
octopus
will lay as many as 100,000 eggs
which she carefully watches for about 6 weeks. When they
hatch, they look very similar to their parents. |
